Nostrum coin is a ERC20 token which is available on the Avalanche network. Nostrum is designed to give holders control over currency inflation and deflation. The idea is to provide 100% decentralization. Who decides the tokenomics are the holders themselves, through votes. The Nostrum has two main features: at each transition a percentage of coins is burned and holders can staking to generate new coins earning a certain percentage. At each time period there is an “election”, made by the Nostrum smart contract. In this election, the holders decide the burn percentage for each transaction and the reward percentage that will be earned through staking. In this way the holders can change the inflation, increasing staking earn percentage, and deflation, increasing burn percentage, at each new election.
