With the invention of the blockchain technology, there have been many attempts to find its proper use cases. A coin that can be used in place of or along with fiat money is one example. Other use cases include a Non-Fungible Token (NFT) which represents an ownership of a digital asset[1], or a Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) where the owners of the token own part of an organization and participate in the operation of the organization.[2] Dongle Space is an attempt to create a new social media with this new technology. In most cases, social media users create posts and write comments unaware of the monetary value created by their activity while user-generated content has created billions of dollars’ worth of value for the shareholders of social media companies, such as Reddit, Facebook, Instagram, 9gag or Twitter. In this regard, sharing ownership and the value created at least partly by the users not solely by the platform could be a way to compensate for what the users created. In addition, granting ownership of the social media to users could facilitate user participation and contribution. To create this new social media where users are owners, we present a new concept of cryptocurrency and account ownership. A Dongle is a fungible token that can be used to purchase Dongle tickets. It also works as an online medium of exchange in the Dongle Community. A Dongle Ticket is a non-fungible token that can be used to access one of the Dongle Spaces, which collectively constitute a Dongle Community. One Dongle Ticket has only one tag and gives access to only one of the Dongle Spaces. For example, a Dongle Ticket with a “National Football League(NFL)” tag gives access to the NFL community. If the owner of the Dongle Ticket writes a post or comment, the data is stored in the Dongle Ticket and owned by the owner.
