PlanetPay aims to ultimately be the greener way to pay through a 1% fee on every transaction going to environmental charities, as voted for by our community. The intention is that it will ultimately be a currency in it's own right, and it will have a cash card which can be used daily, as you use your credit or debit cards currently. There will also be a function to subscribe to our pledging program without the need to hold any $PLANET tokens. This is for those who want to participate but who may not know how or not want to buy the token. PlanetPay will begin life as a community token on the Binance Smart Chain. This will help us refine our tokenomics, build our community, spread awareness of our mission, and effectively crowdfund our mission to becoming the greener way to pay. This phase will be referred to as ‘Phase 1’. Phase 2 will see the launch of the cash card solution and more information can be found in the following sections on how this will work along with the timeline.
