The concept of a peer-to-peer internet ledger of value, recorded as a blockchain and secured by proof of work was rst reported in 2008. Bitcoin remains the most widely used cryptocurrency to date. Hundreds of similar cryptocurrency ledgers have been subsequently created but with few exceptions they rely on the same elliptic curve public-key cryptography (ECDSA) to generate digital signatures which allow transactions to be varied securely. The most commonly used signature schemes today such as ECDSA, DSA and RSA are theoretically vulnerable to quantum computing attack. It would be valuable to explore the design and construction of a quantum resistant blockchain ledger to counter the potential advent of a sudden non-linear quantum computing advance.

November 2016
White paper release. After discussion with developers, post-quantum cryptographers and research into existing roadmap of blockchain technology, the whitepaper was written to provide an overview of quantum resistant methodologies. The Winternitz OTS+ and Extended Merkle Signature Scheme (XMSS) were identified as the optimal solutions. This investigation also revealed the necessity of QRL to stand alone as a network with interoperability in the later pipeline.
Not willing to compromise a launch with an immature PoS protocol given how much value the project currently carries — and more importantly how much value it will hold in the future, QRL announces a move to temporary Proof of Work model.
The introduction and solidification of variable key heights and signature space allows us to ensure future compatibility with almost anything. Our blockchain now includes the possibility to upgrade signature schemes (XMSS, SPHINCS, + future) and through an address format update, support different cryptographic hash functions (SHA2_256, SHAKE_128, SHAKE256 etc).
Digital Ticks
A First ever Commodity - Crypto Exchange well designed by traders for traders. Digital Ticks Exchange (DTX) is just not another crypto to crypto exchange but is also a semi-algorithm platform provider in its own. DTX plans to cater to all types of crypto assets as well as commodity to crypto assets. DTX would be power packed by a lot of advanced features including all the basic features of an exchange required by a novice trader to a professional trader as well as for a high frequency trader. In terms of security DTX is taking extra precautionary measures to avoid any kind of hacks like DDoS attacks, phishing attempts and by also performing vulnerability assessments and penetration testing. DTX has installed robust technologies behind the scene that could handle heavy volatility of the crypto markets as well as commodity markets which can handle upto 1,000,000 orders per second. Digital Ticks Exchange team believes into robust technology, ahead of industry standards in terms of providing customer service to its stakeholders as well as traders. Digital Ticks Exchange team ensures all its traders to have a smooth and user friendly trading experience. Digital Ticks Exchange would not levy any transaction charges for first few months of inception thereby giving traders to trade on zero transaction charges. DTX would give volume-based incentive for high frequency trader (HFT) which would give them scope for retaining higher profitability in the trade.

Escrowblock
The aim of the project is to create an EscrowBlock platform for the Ethereum network blockchain. Such a platform can work as an independent environment, or be integrated into other Smart contracts, to provide escrow services as part of any other projects. The team will start the project on Mainnet Ethereum blockchain and then make a fork for providing an independent service.

BlockStorage
BlockStorage is a protocol built to connect and abstract all communications with the blockchain, simplifying the user’s life. The current state of cloud storage, with dozens of reports of security issues, the overall perception of lack of privacy, along with the usual high monthly fees calls for a new kind of storage service, one that guarantees data privacy at lower (or no) costs. From those concerns, we envisioned BlockStorage, a storage protocol based on the principles of ease of use and privacy. Built with the casual user in mind, it allows anyone to store and recover any type of file on any existing blockchain, without cost (besides the transaction fee to store the file). BlockStorage leverages blockchain technology to ensure the safest and most transparent storage experience. Our protocol allows users to seamlessly upload files to the blockchain of their choice while taking care of the data encryption and the respective blockchain protocol. And, because of the inherent nature of blockchains, it assures that the data will never be lost. In short, it will store the files for life without any recurring costs.

Adrealm
Adrealm aims to rebuild the digital advertising ecosystem and cultivate a self-sustaining open ecosystem for all participants to achieve advertising efficiency. Built on ERC-20 standard of the Ethereum platform, Adrealm connects advertisers, service providers, content publishers, developers etc on its decentralized public ledger ensuring privacy and no third-party management of data. Thanks to its three-tier architecture made of an on-chain layer, off-chain layer, and a service layer, speed and efficiency can be guaranteed and the industry pain-points such as fraud, low-quality ads, and data leakage can be overcome. Adrealm relies on a particular consensus mechanism called Proof of Valid Traffic (PoVT) that makes high-quality ads and traffic the fundamental criteria for the operational success of transactions.

LOHN
Lohn is a widely spread contractual form in various industrial fields of international cooperation relations, especially in the industry of clothing, footwear, leather, furniture, software and hardware, pharmaceutical, metal working, metallurgical, machine tools, automotive, automation, machine building industry, electronics and appliance industry, food and beverage industry, petrochemical industry. The lohn (processing economy) has been and will be a solution to produce goods at reasonable and high-quality prices through the efficient use of labor and cheap raw materials in emerging economies. It is also a business model that creates economic and social progress across the world bringing together markets with productive resources and capabilities. The trading platform developed by the lohncontrol project will create global opportunities for small and medium-sized businesses that are responsible for generating 60% of GDP. It will give them a visibility that they do not have at this time and will encourage the development of direct business between them. This means low manufacturing costs and greater adaptation to market demands. Those who will win at the end of this interaction will be consumers who will get good products at realistic prices.

MARAChain
This exchange allows transmission of encrypted and secure documentation, restricting access to third parties and offering access management to these creditable transfers, through an auditable, verifable and secure P2P transaction. These transmissions will be made through a distributed network of nodes located in the main European DPCs, guaranteeing 24x7 availability of information as well as protection against information loss thanks to the redundancy of our distributed network.
