The concept of a peer-to-peer internet ledger of value, recorded as a blockchain and secured by proof of work was rst reported in 2008. Bitcoin remains the most widely used cryptocurrency to date. Hundreds of similar cryptocurrency ledgers have been subsequently created but with few exceptions they rely on the same elliptic curve public-key cryptography (ECDSA) to generate digital signatures which allow transactions to be varied securely. The most commonly used signature schemes today such as ECDSA, DSA and RSA are theoretically vulnerable to quantum computing attack. It would be valuable to explore the design and construction of a quantum resistant blockchain ledger to counter the potential advent of a sudden non-linear quantum computing advance.

November 2016
White paper release. After discussion with developers, post-quantum cryptographers and research into existing roadmap of blockchain technology, the whitepaper was written to provide an overview of quantum resistant methodologies. The Winternitz OTS+ and Extended Merkle Signature Scheme (XMSS) were identified as the optimal solutions. This investigation also revealed the necessity of QRL to stand alone as a network with interoperability in the later pipeline.<br />

Not willing to compromise a launch with an immature PoS protocol given how much value the project currently carries — and more importantly how much value it will hold in the future, QRL announces a move to temporary Proof of Work model.<br />

The introduction and solidification of variable key heights and signature space allows us to ensure future compatibility with almost anything. Our blockchain now includes the possibility to upgrade signature schemes (XMSS, SPHINCS, + future) and through an address format update, support different cryptographic hash functions (SHA2_256, SHAKE_128, SHAKE256 etc).<br />

Our internal code review also compliments the more general internal security review we are currently in the process of conducting.<br />

Cure Cosplay
Cure WorldCosplay is the world’s largest Cosplay platform, supporting 12 languages where more than 720,000 members from more than 180 countries post their quality works - 6.5 million images and counting. Our official social media accounts are followed by more than 430,000 people across Facebook, Twitter, and Weibo. We have a strong emphasis on providing community service which is characterized by self-sustainability and development. Cosplayers have various motivations for their activity, some Cosplayer want to become professional, others want more fans, and yet others are looking to share their work with groups. Photographers and Props Makers working closely with Cosplayers also have some influence on the increasing diversity of motivations. COT will be used as a payment currency within the Cure WorldCosplay ecosystem, helping cosplayers without access to other online payment methods to be tipped for their services. Using the Cure Protocol, players will also be able to create and distribute their own personalised coin. This unique feature will bring power back to cosplayers, enabling them to monetize themselves as these coins can be used to tip players as well as purchase merchandise or event tickets. Player Coins will provide an accessible platform for cosplayers to promote their identity to the continuously growing 720,000 member-base of Cure WorldCosplay, as they will be directly attainable by fans. These coins will also allow cosplayers to develop deeper relationships with their communities, as users will be able to explicitly show their support while also gamifying their experience.

Armacoin
Our Armacoin GZM coin is specially designed for advertising companies, various media, various greetings registered on the basis of blockchain. Each new message will not be overwritten by the previous one, but will be supplemented. These advertisers can be quite a lot and each of them will receive a payment for their advertising message. The cost of this one message will be 1 GZM. A specific function and variable were added in this coin. The function «Set-Messange» and the global variable «Messange» that is permanently stored in the blockchain. The «SetMessange» function adds a line to the «Messange» function and the 1 GZM is removed from the account of the one who calls this function and transfers this 1 GZM to the advertiser's account. This coin is like a prototype of a Billboard, where the owners of this token, that is, advertisers, can place a message in the contract line for only 1 GZM. The advertiser can place this message on the billboards in different cities, on websites and all visitors will see what is specified in the global parameter of the messange. This coin was created on the ERC-20 contract. The total number of issued and coins for mining does not exceeds 1 billion. The mining of this coin is also unique because it allows to generate GZM tokens with low power renewable energy. This leaves most of the green energy to use for the network, while the miner can use the opportunity to acquire new tokens. We are also developing applications for this smart contract and will give the opportunity to mine these tokens using renewable energy sources, various gadgets with installed pedometers apps, electric vehicles, fitness bracelets and much more. Everything will be done for environmentally friendly and safe mining, as well as for the stimulation of a healthy lifestyle of the people living on our planet. We will encourage everyone who cares about the purity and ecology of our planet.

Shercoin
The SherCoin team has realized that the best way to create a good cryptocurrency that will achieve mass adoption is by creating a multi-functional token that has more than one utility. Most of the altcoins are Ethereum-based coins that only offer one application. SherCoin features five different related applications in one. The ecosystem has a theme: User provide valuable economic services for businesses such: as checking market place for counterfeits, reporting fake or suspicious products; filling out surveys and giving information, feedback, and data, so business can make informed decisions; giving the users an easy way to manage the cryptos the earned; and then giving them outlets to spend/exchange their tokens.
